The Mummy Shuffle
Album: The Haunted Hit Parade
Text
Way down in the pyramid, just about midnight
Somebody heard a beat and switched on the lights
Out came a mummy with a dusty old grin
Said, ‘everybody shuffle, let the fun begin'
Wrap it up
Turn around
Slide your feet across the ground
Do the mummy shuffle
Shuffle to the left
Do the mummy shuffle
Shuffle to the right
March around the pyramid
Do the crocodile - don't quit
Do the mummy shuffle
All night long
The moon was shining on the sand beside the River Nile
Everybody lined up in a long Egyptian line
If your feet get tangled, don't you worry none
Just keep on shufflin' till the morning sun
Clap your hands
Count to four
Now we're shufflin' even more
Do the mummy shuffle
Shuffle to the left
Do the mummy shuffle
Shuffle to the right
March around the pyramid
Do the crocodile - don't quit
Do the mummy shuffle
All night long
Spin around, if you can
Untangle, if you need a hand
Everybody shout ‘hey!'
Everybody shout ‘boo!'
Now the mummy dancin' with you
Do the mummy shuffle
Everybody move
Do the mummy shuffle
Catch that spooky groove
Down the Nile, we all unite
Shufflin' through the desert night
Do the mummy shuffle
One more time!
